Who it is for
Typically 10–14 executives, usually SVP level and above. A full senior leadership team or the senior leaders of a single function, including the people who own the decisions. Everyone participates. No coding experience is needed.
What you leave with
- A working prototype: explore a problem from your function and identify what needs further testing.
- A map of opportunities: understand where AI could change the work and which assumptions need testing.
- A plan to take forward: next steps for your team, with AI coach follow-through.
Who runs it
The Lab is led by Reuven Gorsht, founder of The Variable, and his team of engineers and operators. We typically provide one facilitator or coach for every 3–4 executives.
How the engagement works
Before. Executive interviews, agreement on useful outcomes, and scenarios prepared around your industry. Bring one real challenge per leader and align on tools and data that can be used.
During. Frame the challenge, build with a coach, test and refine, then compare what your team learned and decide on next steps. The agenda is tailored during preparation.
After. Each leader leaves with a plan and access to their AI coach. Coaching scope is clarified when discussing your engagement; further execution support is an additional engagement.
What to plan for
Protect the day, arrange the space, and bring laptops. Raise tool, data, security, and procurement requirements during preparation.
This is a learning and prototyping engagement. Production use requires further validation, integration, and your organization’s approvals.
